Description of Problem:
computer indicated an Optical Bench Error.  This usually happens when the computer is either unable to close the dome door or to open it.  The door was in the correct position, but the electrical connection to the closed position limit switch was not intact.

Solution, Possible Solution, or Trouble Shooting Steps:
we were able to fix this problem by removing the limit switch and reinstalling it.

Other Comments:
in my opinion it is probable that opening and closing the door by hand jostled the limit switches more than they were accustomed to, and an electrical connection was dislodged.
