WSO Task Report (WTR) Number: 16 Descriptive Name: "set intmin 0" only works for 1st observation Initiator: Jeneen Sommers Date Opened: 2001/10/11 14:12 Date Problem Occurred: 2000/10/01 Priority: 3 Medium Status: Closed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description of Problem: If I "set intmin 0" on a cloudy morning and start meanfields, intmin is only 0 for the first observation. If it's going to be useful on a bad weather day, it has to stay 0 (unless there's some reason not to do that). Maybe it could be reset to 100 during shutdown instead of at the beginning of the observation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Possible Consequences If Problem Persists: Lost MF measurements on cloudy or foggy days. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Solution, Possible Solution, or Trouble Shooting Steps: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Comments: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date Closed: 2002/04/10 10:18 Resolution: Set intmin 0 should only be used on the days of the year when the intensity might get too low at the limbs during a magscan, so nothing needs to be done. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
