Our first map of the solar field was May 16, 1976 at 22 UT.

Level 3 magnetograms have been remapped to Carrington Coordinates.

There is a labelled column of data for each even 5 Carrington Degree interval with 55 degrees of central meridian; 23 columns in all.
The 30 data points in each column are equally spaced in sine latitude from north (sine latitude = 14.5/15) to south (sine latitude = -14.5/15).

The header information gives some details of the observations. Scans with weather >= 3 or with trouble bits set should be used with caution.
